LEMON DESSERT 
1 pkg. Lorna Doone cookies
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 lg. cool whip
2 sm. pkgs. instant lemon pudding
3 c. milk

Roll cookies into crumbs; add melted butter and nuts. Spread in bottom of large 9 x 13 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 7 to 10 minutes. Cool. Blend cream cheese, sugar and cool whip, saving 1 cup of cool whip for frosting. Spread over crumb crust. Blend pudding and milk; spread over last layer. Top with reserved cool whip and garnish with nuts or maraschino cherry halves. Use different flavors of pudding if desired.
