MONKEY CAKE 
4 pkg. buttermilk biscuits
1/2 box raisins
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon
3/4 c. chopped pecans (optional)

Mix 3/4 cup sugar with cinnamon. Quarter biscuits and shake in cinnamon and sugar mixture a few at a time.

Grease bundt or tube pan and layer quartered biscuits with raisins between each layer. If you use the pecans, place these in the bottom of the bundt pan first, then layer the biscuit quarters.

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat, add 1 cup sugar and bring just to boil. Pour this over the biscuits and raisins. Place in preheated 350 degree oven and bake 45 minutes.
