PEARS A LA CREME 
2 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 can pear halves

Put all ingredients except pear halves in skillet. Heat on low until blended. Drain pears and arrange on top of butter and sugar mixture. Heat through. Place pear halves on scoops of vanilla ice cream and pour sauce over. Serves 4.
