GREEN TOMATO RELISH 
6 red sweet peppers, chopped
3 lbs. brown sugar
6 lg. green peppers, chopped
1 lb. white sugar
1 qt. chopped onions
1 gal. chopped cabbage
1 c. salt
1 gal. chopped green tomatoes
2 tsp. turmeric
1/2 gal. vinegar
3 tsp. cinnamon
3 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. celery seed
2 tsp. pickling spice in a bag

Mix peppers, onions, tomatoes, cabbage and salt and let stand 3 hours. Drain. Add remaining ingredients in large kettle and boil several minutes. Put in sterile, hot canning jars and seal.
