QUICK FRENCH ONION SOUP 
2 tbsp. butter
3 c. sliced onions
3 cans beef consomme
1 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
French bread
Gruyere cheese

In large soup pot, melt butter and cook onions until tender. Add beef consomme and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a boil and simmer for approximately 30 minutes.

Place soup in oven proof bowls and top with 1 slice French bread and grated Gruyere cheese. Broil until cheese turns brown.
