OKRA FRITTERS 
1 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. milk
5 c. thinly sliced okra

Stir dry ingredients together. Combine eggs ad milk and add to dry mixture. Stir until smooth. Add okra. Spoon tablespoons into deep fat and fry until crisp. Serve with melted butter. Serves 8.
