CHEESY BEEF - BROCCOLI PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. chopped onion
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
Milk
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 egg, beaten
1 recipe 2 crust pie pastry
1 pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked & drained
4 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, sliced

Brown ground beef with onion in skillet; drain. Stir in flour, salt and garlic salt. Add 1 1/4 cups milk and cream cheese. Cook until bubbly. Stir a small amount of ground beef mixture into beaten egg. Stir egg mixture into ground beef mixture. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Stir in broccoli.

Line 9 inch pie plate with half the pastry. Spoon hamburger mixture into pie shell. Top with cheese slices and remaining pastry; seal and prick with fork. Brush milk over top of pastry. Bake at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Makes 6 servings.

This is an excellent recipe. A real family favorite. Only difference is I use the shredded Monterey Jack.
