CHEESY GREEN BEAN BAKE 
1 (8 oz.) can mushrooms
6 tbsp. butter
1 sm. onion
1/4 c. flour
2 c. scalded milk
1/2 lb. (8 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
Dash Tabasco sauce
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soy sauce
3/4 tsp. Accent seasoning
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (8 oz.) water chestnuts, sliced
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen French style green beans
1 can French fried onions

Saute mushrooms and onions in butter. Blend in flour, gradually add scalded milk. Cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly. Add cheese, Tabasco sauce, salt, soy sauce, Accent and pepper. Cook just until cheese melts. Cook green beans and drain. Add beans and chestnuts to cheese sauce and pour into a greased 3-4 quart baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes. Sprinkle the French fried onions over top and bake 10 more minutes. Serves about 10 people.
