EASY CREAMY PRALINES 
1 lb. box light brown sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
1 c. pecans
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter

Mix all ingredients except pecans in a 2 quart saucepan. Cook and stir over low heat until sugar is dissolved. Add pecans and cook over medium heat to soft ball stage or 234 degrees on candy thermometer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and cool for 5 minutes. Stir rapidly until mixture is thickened. Drop rapidly from a tablespoon onto aluminum foil. Stir in several drops of hot water if candy becomes too stiff to handle easily. Let stand until cool and set. Makes about 20 pralines.
