FROZEN FRUIT SALAD 
1 can fruit cocktail (1 lb. 13 oz. size)
1 pkg. lemon Jello (3 oz.)
1 c. hot water
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1 pkg. cream cheese (8 oz.)
1/2 c. mayonnaise
1 1/2 c. tiny marshmallows
1/2 c. maraschino cherries
1/2 c. cream for whipping

Drain fruit cocktail, save fruit. (You should have about 1 1/4 cups liquid.)

Dissolve gelatin in hot water in 4-cup measure; stir in juice from fruit cocktail and lemon juice; cool to lukewarm.

Beat cream cheese with wooden spoon or fork until soft in large bowl; blend in mayonnaise, then gelatin mixture. Fold in drained fruit cocktail, marshmallows and cherries.

Beat whipping cream until stiff in small bowl. Place bowl of fruit-gelatin mixture in larger bowl of ice and water; fold in whipped cream. Continue folding until mixture begins to mound.

Spoon into an 8-cup mold and freeze. Slice and serve on lettuce.

Lime gelatin and lime juice can be used in place of lemon.
