LEMON SOUR CREAM CAKE 
1 c. butter, softened
3 c. sugar
6 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 tsp. lemon flavoring

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating continually. Sift flour, adding soda. Add half flour mix to the batter. Add sour cream then remainder of flour. Pour into buttered and floured lightly 9 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hours.

FROSTING:

1 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. lemon extract

Mix well. Pour over cake when cool.
