SWEET TART LEMON SQUARES 
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c. lemon juice
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/3 c. brown sugar, packed
1/3 c. butter, melted

In small bowl, stir together milk, lemon juice, and rind until thick and smooth. Set aside. Mix crumbs, sugar, and butter together. Place 2/3 mixture in 8 inch square dish and press firmly into bottom of dish. Add milk mixture and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. Pat down gently. Microwave at high 8 to 10 minutes, rotating dish after 4 minutes. Cut in squares for cookies or large pieces as dessert. Yields: 16 to 24 cookies. 9 pieces for dessert.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
