LASAGNA 
1 lb. pork sausage
1 clove garlic, minced
1 can tomatoes (16 oz.)
1 tsp. basil
1 tsp. salt
8 oz. lasagna noodles
2 eggs
2 1/2 c. cream style cottage cheese
1/2 c. chopped onion
3/4 c. grated parmesan
1 lb. mozzarella cheese, thinly sliced

Cook meat, onions and garlic. Drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes and next four ingredients. Cover. Simmer 15 minutes. Stir often. Boil noodles and drain.

Beat eggs. Add cottage cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan, 1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon pepper. Layer half noodles in 9 x 13 inch pan. Spread with 1/2 filling. Add 1/2 mozzarella and 1/2 meat sauce. Repeat layers. Sprinkle with remaining Parmesan. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Can make early. Refrigerate. Bake 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes. 10 servings.
