PLUM JAM 
2 lb. plums (approx. 28)
4 c. sugar

Slice plums, removing pits and add 1/4 cup water to saucepan. Simmer until fruit is soft. Add sugar, stir until dissolved. Boil on low heat until set. To test if set put small amount in saucer. Let cool slightly. If it does not run easily it is done. When tasting, remove pot from burner. Reason for boiling on low heat is so it won't stick. Process.
