BEST CHOCOLATE SANDWICH COOKIES 
2 c. sifted flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 c. milk
1/2 c. Hershey's cocoa
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. butter, room temperature
1 tsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, cocoa, soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

Cream together butter and sugar in mixing bowl until light and fluffy; add eggs and vanilla; beat until well blended. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk to creamed mixture; beating well after each addition.

Drop by rounded tablespoons onto greased baking sheets 3" apart. Flatten with back of spoon. Bake 400 degrees for 7 minutes. Remove and cool on rack, fill with marshmallow filling and sprinkle tops with powdered sugar.

MARSHMALLOW FILLING: Cream together 3/4 cup Crisco and 1/4 cup butter with 2 cups powdered sugar. Beat in 1 cup marshmallow creme, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 tablespoon milk. Beat until smooth and creamy.
