WARM HERB BREAD | |
2 loaves Italian or French bread 1 jar (4 oz.) herb spread 1. With sharp knife, slice each loaf in half lengthwise. At 2-inch intervals, make diagonal slashes crosswise in each half. 2. Spread each half generously with herb spread. Place on cookie sheet. 3. Broil, 6 inches from heat, 2 to 3 minutes, or until bread is golden brown. 4. To serve: Snip bread along slashes, with scissors. Serve hot. Makes 8 to 10 servings. |
