APPLE PIE FILLING | |
1 can Comstock sliced apples, well drained 1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed 1/2 c. granulated sugar 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 1/4 tsp. nutmeg 2 tbsp. butter Combine all ingredients, except butter. Turn into pie crust; dot with butter and cover with top crust. Make slits for steam to escape; seal and flute edge. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake in a 425 degree oven 40-45 minutes or until crust is golden brown. |
