BUTTERMILK-CHEESE LOAF 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
2 eggs, beaten
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. vegetable oil

Combine first 4 ingredients. Stir in cheese. Make a well in center of mixture. Combine eggs, buttermilk, and oil. Add to flour mixture. Stir until moistened. Spoon batter into greased and floured 8 1/2 x 4 1/2 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
