LEMON BAR COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
2-4 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. sugar, powdered
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter, powdered sugar and 1 cup flour; mix well. Press on bottom of ungreased 8 or 9 inch square pan. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 degrees. In the meantime, combine well beaten eggs, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Mix the baking powder and 2 tablespoons flour; add to egg mixture. Mix well and spread on hot baked layer. Return to oven and reduce heat to 325 degrees for 25-30 minutes; cool. Cut into bars; sprinkle generously with powdered sugar.
