LEMON BAR COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. + 2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. grated lemon rind

Combine butter, 1 cup flour, and confectioners' sugar. Mix well. Pat into 9 inch square pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool.

In bowl mix eggs, sugar, powder, 2 tablespoons flour, lemon juice and lemon rind. Pour over cooled crust. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes. Sprinkle confectioners' sugar on top while still hot. Cool and cut into bars.
