BLUEBERRY OATMEAL BREAD 
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. oatmeal, uncooked
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. plus 2 tbsp. butter
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 c. milk
1/4 c. light corn syrup
1 c. fresh or frozen blueberries

Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl. Cut in butter with pastry blender, until mixture resembles coarse meal. Combine egg, milk and corn syrup. Mix well. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until just moistened. Fold in blueberries. Pour batter into greased 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until a wooden pick comes out clean, in a 350 degree oven. Cool 10 minutes in pan and then remove to rack.
