"POPPY SEED - HERB DROP
BISCUITS"
 
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. poppy seed
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme leaves
1/3 c. butter, cut into chunks
3/4 c. milk

In large bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, poppy seeds, salt and thyme. Mix butter until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal. Pour in milk; stir until dough is evenly moistened. Drop dough in 1/4 cup portion about 1 inch apart in a greased 9 inch round baking pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 to 18 minutes. Makes 8 large biscuits.
