SPAGHETTI SAUCE 
1/4 c. salad or olive oil
1/2 green pepper, chopped fine
2 lg. onions, chopped
2 garlic buds, chopped fine
3 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
2 (28 oz.) cans whole tomatoes
1/2 tsp. parsley
3 tbsp. Parmesan cheese
1 tbsp. salt
2 tbsp. sugar
2 lb. ground beef
2 (4 oz.) cans mushrooms

Heat oil in large skillet. Add pepper, onion and garlic and saute until golden brown. Blend in tomato paste, sauce, and whole tomatoes, heating over low flame. Add parsley flakes, Parmesan, salt, and sugar. Saute the ground beef until brown and add the mushrooms. Combine the sauce and simmer on low heat for 2-3 hours. (Tomatoes chopped in blender will cut cooking time.) Serves 10-12.
