RAISIN WALNUT BARS 
4 eggs, separated
1 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch salt
1 lb. bag walnuts in shell

Shell walnuts. Cover baking cookie sheet with greased brown paper bag (cut to size). Mix egg yolks and sugar. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well. Add raisins and nuts.

Beat egg whites until stiff and add to other ingredients and spread on prepared pan. Bake in 400 degree preheated oven until brown on top. Cool and cut into squares.
