BANANA NUT POUND CAKE 
2 eggs
1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
3 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. maraschino cherries
3 tsp. vanilla
8 tbsp. milk
2 sticks butter
2 c. chopped nuts
4 mashed ripened bananas

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Flour and grease bundt pan. Beat eggs and sugar. Add milk, beat. Add butter and vanilla, beat after each. Mix flour, soda, baking powder together, sifting. Add half of this mixture to batter, stir with spoon. Add fruit into mixture, stirring after each addition. Then add rest of flour until everything is mixed. Pour into bundt pan. After cooling, you may sprinkle with powdered sugar.
