WESTERN KENTUCKY BBQ SAUCE | |
1 cup vinegar 1 cup mustard 1 cup ketchup 1 1/2 cups sugar 1/2 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. black pepper 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper Whisk all ingredients together in a saucepan. Slowly bring to a boil and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes. This sauce is very good with smoked pork. Note: Instead of using the black pepper and crushed red pepper, I like to use 1 1/2 teaspoons of 6 Pepper Blend. Tones and Durkee brands have their version of 6 Pepper Blend. Submitted by: TChoat |
