HOT FUDGE CAKE 
1 c. plain flour
8 tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. milk
1 2/3 c. boiling water

In medium size bowl, sift flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Add 3/4 cup sugar and butter. Mix dry ingredients. Pour in milk and vanilla and mix. Set aside.

Now mix in 8 inch pan the remaining 3/4 cup sugar, 5 tablespoon cocoa and boiling water. Mix well. Spoon batter mixture into syrup mixture. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Serve hot with ice cream.
