CHOCOLATE CREAM PIE 
3 oz. chocolate, cut in pieces
3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
2 1/2 c. milk
3 tbsp. flour
3 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
1 baked pie shell
1 c. heavy cream

Melt chocolate and milk in double boiler and blend with rotary egg beater. Mix flour, cornstarch, sugar and salt. Add to chocolate mixture and cook 15 minutes, stirring constantly. The mixture should be thick and smooth.

Stir a small amount of mixture into egg yolks, return to double boiler, and cook a few minutes longer. Add butter and vanilla. Cool and pour into baked pie shell. Before serving, whip cream and spread on top with semi-sweet chocolate, grated.
