RICE MEAT BALLS 
1 c. Minute rice
1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, slightly beaten
2 tsp. grated onion
2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. butter
Dash of pepper
2 1/2 c. tomato juice
1/2 tsp. sugar

Mix rice (right from the box), ground beef, egg, onion, salt, butter, pepper and 1/2 cup tomato juice. Shape into balls. Place in skillet. Add sugar and 2 cups tomato juice. Bring to a boil; then cover and simmer for 15 minutes basting occasionally.

Makes about 6 servings.
