BEST CAKE FROM GEORGIA 
1 (19 oz.) can crushed pineapple
2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix by hand for one minute (may be lumpy). Pour into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 - 40 minutes.

ICING:

1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, warm
1/2 c. butter
1 1/3 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix with electric mixer until smooth. Ice cake. Refrigerate 2 days before serving. Can cut into pieces and freeze.
