TACO PIE 
1 pie shell
1 med. onion, chopped
1 can refried beans
2 c. shredded cheese
Shredded lettuce
Chopped tomato
1 lb. ground meat
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 jar taco sauce
12 nacho tortilla chips, crushed

Preheat oven and cookie sheet to 400 degrees. Prick bottom and sides of pie crust with fork. Bake pie shell on cookie sheet for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and reduce temperature to 350 degrees. In skillet cook ground meat and onion until meat is browned.

Drain excess fat. Add taco seasoning mix to according to package instructions. In small bowl, combine the refried beans and 1/3 cup taco sauce; mix well. Layer half of refried bean mixture in bottom of pie crust. Top with half of meat, 1 cup cheese and nacho chips. Repeat layer, excluding nacho chips. Bake on preheated cookie sheet 20 to 25 minutes. Remove from oven. Top with lettuce, tomato. Add more taco sauce to taste.
