BROCCOLI-ORANGE SALAD 
4 c. fresh broccoli flowerets
1 small purple onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
1/2 c. raisins
1/2 c. pecan pieces, toasted
3/4 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 c. sugar
1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges, drained

Combine broccoli, onion, raisins and pecans in a bowl and set aside.

Combine mayonnaise, sugar and vinegar. Add to broccoli mixture, stirring to coat. Gently stir in mandarin oranges. Cover and refrigerate at least 3 hours.

Yield: 6 servings.
