MAPLE NUT BREAD 
1 c. chopped walnuts
1/2 c. maple syrup
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/4 c. milk
3 c. biscuit mix

Mix together walnuts and maple; let stand at least one hour. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix remaining ingredients together and beat until smooth. Stir in nut mixture. Pour into well-greased loaf pan, 9 x 5 x 3 inches. Bake 45 to 50 minutes until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Crack in top is typical. Cool before slicing.
