MEATLOAF WITH SAUCE 
2 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 1/4 lbs. ground pork
2 slices bread, made into crumbs
1/3 c. oatmeal
4 eggs, beaten to mix
2 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 c. tomato sauce
1 med. onion, chopped
1 sm. can evaporated milk (5 oz.)
Freshly ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. For the loaf, mix all ingredients together, shape and place in a greased roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour, basting occasionally with pan juices.

SAUCE:

4 tbsp. dark brown sugar
1 c. tomato sauce
1/2 c. milk
4 tbsp. prepared mustard
4 tbsp. vinegar

Mix all ingredients together in small saucepan. Heat briefly and pour over individual slices of meat loaf. Serve hot with mashed potatoes and English peas or cold for sandwiches. Can be frozen.
