SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
1/2 lb. butter
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. sweet milk
1/2 pt. (8 oz.) sour cream
1 tsp. lemon flavoring
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. Crisco

Cream butter, sugar, and Crisco. Add eggs, beating after each addition. Add sour cream, vanilla, and lemon flavoring. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately to mixture with milk. Bake in greased and floured tube pan at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

ICING:

Juice of 1 lemon
3 oz. cream cheese, softened
3/4 stick butter
1 box powdered sugar

Mix icing ingredients.
