SOUR CREAM POUND CAKE 
2 sticks butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1/2 pt. sour cream
2 tsp. vanilla flavoring
2 tsp. lemon flavoring (optional)

Cream butter and shortening. Gradually add sugar, beating until mixture is light and fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour with baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk, sour cream and flavorings. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees for 70 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Do not open oven door until time is up.

ICING:

1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 box powdered sugar
1 stick butter
1-2 lemons, juiced
