TREASURED POTATOES 
8-10 med. potatoes
1 c. (4 oz.) Provolone cheese, shredded
Red pepper to taste
1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter
1 tbsp. grated onion
1 tsp. seasoned salt
1/3 tsp. pepper
1 c. half and half

Boil potatoes in skins until barely tender. Drain and cool completely. Grate on large side of grater. Combine potatoes with cheese, onion and seasonings. Taste for seasoning. Put in baking dish and dot with butter. Pour half and half over potatoes when ready to bake. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until browned and crispy.
