RICH CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES 
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. each sugar, packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
16 oz. chocolate chips

Cream butter and sugar in bowl. Add eggs and vanilla beating until smooth. Beat in combined dry ingredients gradually until blended. Stir in chips. Drop by teaspoonful onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until browned. Yield: 8 1/4 dozen.
