VANILLA CREAM PIE 
3/4 c. sugar
5 tbsp. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 egg yolks, beaten
1 tbsp. butter
1 8" baked pie crust

Combine sugar, flour and salt in top of double boiler. Blend in milk, vanilla and egg yolks. Add butter. Place over rapidly boiling water. Cook until thick and smooth, stirring constantly. When cool, turn into baked pie crust.
