FRESH APPLE CAKE 
3 eggs
1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
3 c. all-purpose (plain) flour
3 lg. apples, chopped finely
1 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. coconut

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Bake 1 hour. Mix all. Bake in a tube pan, floured and greased. While still hot punch holes in cake and put on glaze.

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tbsp. white syrup
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. vanilla
