RHUBARB STRAWBERRY DESSERT | |
1 c. flour 1 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. butter, melted 3/4 c. quick oats 1 tsp. cinnamon 4 c. sliced rhubarb (or 2 c. each, rhubarb & strawberries) 1 c. sugar 1/2 c. water 2 tbsp. cornstarch 1 tsp. vanilla Mix first five ingredients until crumbles. Spread half of it in a pan and arrange rhubarb and/or strawberries on it. Mix sugar, cornstarch, water and vanilla and cook until thickened and pour over rhubarb mixture. Spread remaining crumbs over the top and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool and serve with whipped cream. |
