CHOCOLATE TEA BREAD 
2 2/3 c. all-purpose flour
3/4 c. applesauce
1/2 c. soft butter
3 eggs
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Combine sugar, butter, eggs, vanilla, water, and applesauce. Stir in dry ingredients. Mix in chocolate chips and nuts.

Bake in 350 degree oven until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and wrap.
