POTATO CASSEROLE 
2 (1 lb.) pkgs. frozen hash browns (not shredded)
1 can undiluted cream of chicken soup
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 pt. sour cream
1 1/2 c. grated cheese
Salt and pepper

TOP:

1 stick butter, melted
1 can Chinese onion rings

Stir all ingredients together and place in 9 x 13 inch oven-proof dish. Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over top. Cover with the foil and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove from oven and spread 1 can of onion rings on top and bake, uncovered, about 15 minutes at 300 degrees.
