SWEET/SOUR PORK BALLS 
1 lb. ground pork
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, minced
1/2 c. green onions, minced
1 tsp. ginger
3/4 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
Cornstarch
3 tbsp. oil

Mix all ingredients except cornstarch and oil. Shape into walnut size balls and roll in cornstarch. Brown in oil in skillet; put in an oven dish, cover and bake at 350 degrees 15 to 20 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.

SAUCE:

1/2 c. green pepper, diced
1/2 c. red pepper, diced
3 med. carrots, sliced

Saute in small amount of oil in large pan until tender.

Add: 1/4 c. vinegar 1 tbsp. soy sauce 2 tbsp. sugar 1 c. beef broth 2 tsp. ginger

Combine 2 tablespoons cornstarch with 1/3 cup water. Add to sauce, cooking until thickens slightly. Pour over meatballs.
