PUMPKIN PIE SQUARES 
In a large bowl, combine 1 cup sifted all purpose flour, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup quick cooking oatmeal and 1/2 cup butter. Mix until crumbly, using electric mixer at low speed.

Press this mixture into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 15 minutes.

In large bowl, combine 1 can (1 pound) mashed pumpkin, 1 can (13 1/2 oz.) unsweetened evaporated milk, 2 eggs, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger and 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves; beat well. Pour mixture into crust. Bake in 350 degree oven for 20 minutes.

In small bowl, combine 1/2 cup chopped pecans, 1/2 cup packed brown sugar and 2 tablespoons butter; sprinkle over pumpkin filling. Return to oven and bake 15 to 20 minutes or until filling is hot. Cool in pan on rack. Cut into 2 inch squares. Makes 12 squares.
