GINGER SNAP COOKIES 
3/4 c. soft shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp. molasses
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
2 c. flour

Mix in order given. Roll into small balls and dip in sugar. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375 degrees.
