SWEET AND SOUR BRAISED ONIONS 
2 c. onion (white pearl)
1 c. canned tomatoes (chopped & drained)
1 c. water
1 tsp. bouillon (instant chicken)
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 1/2 tbsp. wine vinegar
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 bay leaf
1/2 tsp. dried thyme
1 clove garlic, crushed
1/2 tsp. salt, optional
1/4 c. raisins
4 tsp. sugar or sweetener

Combine onions and all other ingredients in medium saucepan. Cover and simmer 1 hour. Serve hot or cold.
