GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
10 med. potatoes
1 med. onion, diced
1/2 lb. bacon, diced
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. sugar
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. cider vinegar
1 c. sour cream
Parsley to taste
1 c. water

Cook potatoes, peel and slice; add onion. Fry bacon and save 1/2 of fat in the skillet and stir the flour into the fat. Add sugar, butter, salt and pepper, vinegar and 1 cup water. Bring to boil; remove from heat. Add sour cream. Add potatoes, onion and bacon; toss gently. Sprinkle with parsley. Serve warm.
