CHILI 
Almost everyone has their own favorite recipe for chili. Most all of them can be prepared in your slow cooker. Here's ours.

1 can undrained chili or red kidney beans
1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes (chopped) and juice
1 lb. ground beef, browned and crumbled
1/4 c. chopped onion
1 chopped green pepper
1/8 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. chili powder, or to taste
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1 bay leaf
Hot pepper sauce to taste (optional)
1 c. tomato juice

Mix all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 10 to 12 hours. Serves 4.
