MEXICAN MANICOTTI | |
10 frankfurters (1 lb.) 10 manicotti shells 1/2 c. boiling water 2 (15 oz.) cans chili with beans 1 c. taco sauce 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterey Jack or Cheddar cheese Place 1 frankfurter in each uncooked manicotti shell. Place the filled shells, not touching in a 12 x 7 1/2 x 2 inch baking dish. Slowly pour boiling water into the dish around the entire inside edge. Stir together chili and taco sauce. Spoon on top of the filled shells. Sprinkle with cheese. Cover tightly with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 to 65 minutes or until shells are done. Let stand covered for 10 minutes. Makes 6 servings. |
